Quality assurance specialist ensures consistent quality of production and received material by utilizing good automated manufacturing practice (GAMP) systems, validating processes, and efficiently communicating information about parts’ defects to affected parties.

Skills/Qualifications required:

- 3-4 years of experience in quality assurance

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

- Have experience in using basic measuring equipment – measuring tape, calipers, & height gage

- Familiar with quality processes & tools (FAI, PPAP, CAR & gage calibration)

- Experience in process Improvement and analyzing Information

- Good verbal and written communication

- Experience in using ISO standards

- Knowledge of REACH & RoHS

- Attention to detail, thoroughness, and dealing with complexity

- Timely relay of information

- Able to use Microsoft Excel & word

Quality Assurance tasks

• Achieving quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews

• Assisting in developing & implementing action plans

• Enforcing quality and customer-service standards

• Identifying and resolving problems within the inspection function

• Assisting in determining system improvements and implementing change.

• Performing routine inspections and quality tests.

• Identifying and resolving workflow and shipment issues.

• Investigating root cause issues & assisting in developing & implementing corrective actions pertaining to customer complaints

• Validating quality processes by monitoring product to specifications and quality attributes

• Maintaining and improving product quality by participating in product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits.

• Preparing quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes and re-validations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.84 - $22.69 per hour
