Responsibilities

Sentinel is seeking a Business Analyst to improve the efficiency of the Board meeting production process for one of its clients in Chicago. The goal will be achieved by housing all Board reports in one electronic system and reducing manual intervention (e.g., manual BAP workflow, document version, sequencing of BAPs and Agenda, redacting minutes life cycle management). This will include a software implementation and some process enhancements that will require a BA to map out the desired future state and capabilities mapping for our various stakeholders. This is a full-time contract hybrid role based in Chicago, IL with hours Mon-Fri from 8am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a similar quantitative field.
• Certification(s) in any of the following PMI, PBA, CBAP, ITIL, CBAP preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of related business analysis experience.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions and perform Fit/Gap Analysis.
• Business Analysis experience in cross-functional implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in Education (K-12) project or program work, preferred
• Detail-oriented and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Develop and document Business and System Requirements, User Stories, and Use Case Scenarios.
• Facilitate Joint Application Design sessions and create functional and technical design documentation.
• Configure and set up systems in test environments, conduct Conference Room Pilots, and deploy changes into Production.
• Document test strategy, test plans, write test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
• Lead testing efforts, including System, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Prepare User Training Material and deliver training to the User community.
• Manage project defect resolution.
• Conduct business process analysis sessions and document business process models, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Implement PMO documentation standards and SDLC processes, providing process improvement recommendations.
• Efficiently perform Level 2 Support tasks for relevant Business Applications.
• Drive resolutions for support escalations from Business Leaders and Technical Support.
• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.
