Job Description
Seeking a position to support the Financial Reporting Team in providing standard monthly and ad-hoc reporting to various functions within the firm with an emphasis on analyzing and creating complex financial data. Looking for someone with strong analytical, communication, and highly organized candidate with keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative analysis and research to support financial decision-making processes
- Prepare, consolidate, and summarize monthly and ad-hoc financial reports including attorney and practice group performance and profitability metrics and projected trends
- Assist in strategic planning and forecasting activities
- Gather and analyze financial data from various sources
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for management
- Consult with partners regarding the management and tracking of client pricing strategies and budgets for existing and prospective client work
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Utilize financial concepts and tools to provide insights and recommendations for business growth
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of reports
Skills:
- Strong quantitative analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficiency in conducting quantitative research using various methodologies
- Experience in strategic planning and the ability to contribute to long-term business goals
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from financial data bc
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- At least five (5) years of related work experience
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
