Overview:

Sentinel Safety & Security Group, LLC is a strategic ownership group quickly growing operations of commercial fire sprinkler and alarm systems. We have recently started Aegis Alarm & Safety Solutions in Appleton, WI to offer new installation and service for fire alarms and fire extinguishers, working closely with its sister company Fireline Sprinkler.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced fire alarm systems leader to join our organization as the President or General Manager (depending on experience) to lead this new endeavor. For the past three years, Sentinel’s companies have ranked #4 in Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) top 20 firms in fire protection and sprinklers.

President / General Manager Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Fireline Sprinkler Service and Inspection Team, the President / General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company’s operations for this new entity including, but not limited to:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, sales, and financial functions.
• Developing a strategic plan for optimized productivity.
• Manage the profit and loss (P&L) to ensure the financial health of the organization.
• Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and safety standards.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining budgetary and resource allocation plans.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and training high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share.
• Setting performance goals and ensuring their completion.
• Carrying out all policies, procedures, training programs, and cultural values.
• Other duties as assigned.

President / General Manager Qualifications:

A successful fire alarm systems leader will possess:

• 5 years of management experience, specifically with personnel management and proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
• 15 years of industry experience in fire alarm systems, fire extinguisher, monitoring, suppression systems, sprinkler systems or low voltage systems (security, telecommunications, etc.).
• Technical knowledge of pre-action detection, foam systems, aqua mist, quell, and other special hazard systems preferred.
• Excellent personnel management with the ability to motivate, collaborate, and lead employees.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent preferred.
• NICET certifications preferred.
