CNC Mill Programmer/ Operator

Overview:
Will be responsible for programming and running Haas Mills to produce precision components in a short-run machining environment.
Responsibilities:
*
Program and operate Haas Mills efficiently and accurately.
*
Work with a variety of materials to produce parts meeting tight tolerances and quality standards.
*
Handle short-run machining projects, ensuring optimal production efficiency.
*
Lift and maneuver parts weighing between 25-30 lbs using available hoists.
*
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
*
Minimum 5 years of CNC Mill operation experience preferred
*
Ability to work in a UAW facility with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.
*
Experience in short-run machining projects.
*
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus, and the company can provide if needed.
*
Must be comfortable working with parts within the 25-30 lb range.
Work Hours/ Environment:
*
Facility is equipped with a shop under air.
*
Flexible scheduling negotiable within 7 AM - 5:30 PM.
Candidate Requirements:
*
Applicants should be experienced CNC Mill Operators with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
*
Consideration for retirees with a wealth of experience is welcomed.
*
THC-friendly candidates need not apply due to government contracts.
