As a clinician owned and operated company, SCT takes pride in providing supportive care to the geriatric population in sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living communities. Human Resources Director

Senior Care Therapy is a clinician and women-owned/operated behavioral health company. We take pride in providing supportive care to the geriatric population in over 300 sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living communities throughout the northeast. We hire passionate and experienced Psychologists and LCSW's, fee-for-service and Full-time.

Compensation: $80,000

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing human resources policies.
  • Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development ect.
  • Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communication.
  • Supporting strategic objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining staff records
  • Handling employee benefits.
  • Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with Healthcare Companys.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
  • ADP and Greenhouse experience a plus
