What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Software Engineer, Junior Team Lead to join our Integration team.
What you will be doing:
As a Junior Team Lead/ Software Engineer at Semperis, you will be an essential member of our Integration Team, collaborating to deliver the integration packages for flagship Semperis product Directory Services Protector (DSP). You will primarily focus on packages that integrate DSP with third party products and services like Splunk, Sentinel and others.
Additionally, 80% of your time will involve working as a Software Engineer, while 20% will encompass management tasks, predominantly backlog management and communication with stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering new product releases on time.
This role is suitable for a Software Engineer with a willingness to venture into management, even without prior experience.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance including design and code reviews
- Tracking team development process and being accountable for product delivery, quality, and timelines.
- Setting high-quality standards, seek and choose technical solutions to meet current and future needs.
- Participate and lead design and implementation of the product.
- Be responsible for the growth and evolution of your team members and provide career development and mentorship.
- Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment.
What you will bring to the table:
- 5 years experience in C# anddemonstratedability to produce production-ready code at a company of similar sizeand complexity.
- Experience with building enterprise applications within a CI/CD environment using Azure DevOps, or a similar platform.
- Good practical experience with secure software development lifecycle of enterprise applications and services.
- Familiar with SIEM tools.
- Knowledge of PowerShell.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.
- All-around team player who is self-motivated with a high work ethic.
- Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, as well as the ability to self-manage and support a team.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with implementing enterprise security solutions.
- Experience with Splunk.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
- Knowledge and experience of building Azure Marketplace applications.
- Data analysis and visualization skills.
- Experience in leading a small-sized engineering team.
- Experience with Azure Cloud.
