Position Summary
The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the STOFI Trading Post. This incumbent trains and manages all staff, prepares daily paperwork and invoices; reviews Kronos time keeping, ensures proper sales of merchandise, orders and maintains storewide inventory/accounting, and drives to meet/exceed performance and profit goals established by the budget. The individual constantly monitors floor operations and provides assistance to staff, as needed. This position works under the general direction of the General Manager of the Trading Posts to ensure an efficient and economically sound operation.
Qualifications / Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience is required. Prior experience in convenience stores (C-stores/gas stations). Ability to supervise retail personnel, plan and participate in duties associated with customer service, training, merchandising, ordering, pricing, displaying, selling and maintaining inventory is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
