Sellers & Associates, LLC has an opening for the Assistant Vice President of the Program Management Office (PMO) and Quality Management.

The AVP of (PMO) and Quality is responsible for building an organization within S&A that brings consistent, standardized, and repetitive project management practices to the business. Responsibilities for this position will include monitoring/reporting data, consistent processes and procedures, and project/program management and administrative activities.

The AVP of PMO and Quality Management will apply proven project/program management principles and methodologies to all projects/programs across all accounts. The AVP of PMO and Quality Management will develop Project/Program Management Plans (PMPs) tools and templates to assist in the execution of projects/programs, and to clearly communicate S&A’s PMO construct to our clients, allowing us to facilitate frequent and direct engagements.

  • Serve as a driving force and champion to accomplish organizational integration and standardization in roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities for S&A projects and programs.
  • Facilitate organizational resource and infrastructure planning to ensure corporate support capability and capacity necessary for on-time, on-cost, high quality execution of all Sellers & Associates’ contracts and subcontracts.
  • Develop innovative and flexible Knowledge Management strategies to ensure corporate data, information, and knowledge are mapped, gathered, and delivered to critical points of need. 
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for project and program management effectiveness to ensure S&A PMO data is captured, analyzed, and leveraged to drive decision-making, optimize processes, and enhance project delivery outcomes.
  • Serve as TEAMS Administrator to ensure appropriate access and control of S&A’s business information.
  • Collaborate with Line Operations as well as S&A departments (HR, IT, Finance, Security) to ensure appropriate integration of tasks and activities.
  • Ensure investments and initiatives in project, program, and account management align with Sellers and Associates’ overarching business strategy and priorities.
  • Develop project/program tracking requirements across budgets and contract deliverables to ensure consistent and accurate management of cost, schedule, quality, and resource utilization.
  • Establish Organizational Project Management (OPM) practices across the company that support in-person, hybrid, and geographically dispersed project teams. 
  • Lead Project management process improvement and PMO governance.
  • Develop Project Management Plan (PMP) tools and templates and make available to Line Operations.
  • Implement management and learning strategies for continuous improvement by analyzing and closing performance gaps driven by culture, accountability, motivation, process, tools & resources, and/or skills and knowledge.
  • Lead internal training design and development efforts across positions and roles, leveraging instructional design processes (such as P-ADDIE-M). 
  • Direct, facilitate, and achieve ISO compliant processes and ISO Certification(s).
  • Conduct ISO Self-Audits and serve as Management Representative for audits.
  • Assess adherence to Quality Management practices and adherence to S&A’s policies and procedures.
  • Standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects, and act as the source of documentation, guidance, and metrics supporting project management.
  • Provide increased efficiencies and enhance contract performance.
  • Align processes across/among all accounts or contracts.
  • Conduct gap analyses, process analysis, root cause analysis, and risk analysis across company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and/or identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide Program and Project Control Support to Line Operations Managers.
  • Provide oversight of Project Management Plan / Program Management Plan development (project control related - not technical).
  • Identify and track lessons learned and best practices; apply lessons learned to policies and processes.
  • Provide change management support when applicable.
  • Provide oversight and establish consistent program and project governance (processes) in execution.
Job Requirements
  • Must have experience overseeing a portfolio of projects.
  • Must have experience preparing and delivering briefings and recommendations to senior executive on a regular basis.
  • Must have experience managing complex customer requirements across all aspects of cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Must have capability to identify and mitigate potential risks at the company-wide level.
  • Must have experience ensuring Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs) are met and ensure objectives in Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs) are followed to ensure quality assurance
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word is required.

Education:

  • BS in Business required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • PMP Certification required.

Security Clearance Requirement: 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required.
