Job Requirements :
- Previous experience in Administrative Assistant role
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office suite experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Responsibilities
- Support International and domestic logistics company by organizing shipment logistics, documentation, and customer service for suppliers and buyers
- Coordinate shipment schedules with contract terms, supplier availability, and buyer need
- Keep customers inform of shipment details, answering questions and responding to requests
- Ensure quality and certificate requirements are met
- Interact daily with shipping lines and trucking organizations to control shipments and instruct documentation
- Maintain flow of operations and organize work by reading and routing correspondence; collecting information, initiating telecommunications, following policies and procedures
- Process formal declarations and Invoices to buyers
- Keep accurate up to date records and documentation
- Word, Excel, Outlook
- Coordinate, monitor and control all rail and truck traffic
