LOCATION: MCAS Yuma, Arizona
JOB DESCRIPTION: Sehlke Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates to provide Supply, Logistics, and fiscal support to Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma commands. The candidate will possess skills related to the day-to-day supply and fiscal requirements of the command. A successful candidate will provide support for government program and project costing efforts, to include issuing guidance on life cycle cost estimating, cost/benefit analysis and economic analysis. In addition, candidate shall provide supply requisition support for in support of Test and Evaluation efforts. Contractor personnel shall provide financial management, budget, and technical support services to support VMX-1 test and Evaluation funded efforts and shall provide technical expertise to VMX-1 leadership to ensure program managers have financial management advice for POM and budget submissions.
Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Desired: Bachelor’s degree degree in a business-related field such as, but not limited to: Public Finance, Business Management, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain management
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Desired: Any certifications that apply to related previously mentioned tasks.
Mandatory: None
Waiverable/Substitutable: Preferred: Certified Defense Financial Management (CDFM), Certified Government Financial Management (CGFM), Microsoft Excel Certified, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Certified, Supply Chain Management certifications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive Marine Corps experience with Supply and Fiscal management duties. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 years of experience in a Department of Defense budget or finance role. Familiarity with Department of Defense Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) cycle. Knowledge of Federal Budgeting practices to include POM, budget formulation, and budget execution. Knowledge of “Green Dollars” a must, and knowledge of “Blue Dollars” a plus. Experience in and knowledge of Marine Corps Supply procedures and requisitions.
