Job Description
Looking for a full time, Bilingual Medical Assistant for a busy Podiatry Office. Strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills required.
Essential Job Functions:
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams- keeping the rooms neat and clean.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Check to make sure that patient history is complete, know current complaint or read previous visits to obtain follow-up plan as needed.
• Assist doctors in any necessary procedures
• Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
• Take x-rays of patients
• Assist patients with paperwork as needed
Knowledge of EMR a plus, and basic x-ray license if possible.
