Sedona Trace Health and Wellness is Hiring an Admissions Director Near Austin, TX

Sedona Trace Health and Wellness Center is currently looking for a Liaison to join our skilled nursing facility. Are you someone with high energy who has a passion for quality care and service for patients. If so, we would love to consider you!

The Admissions Director is responsible for managing aspects of the facility marketing plan, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, and admission paperwork on new patient's.

Duties Include:

  • Assist the Director of Community Liaison in conducting outreach and education on facility services and availability of patient care services to professional contacts, such as physicians, hospitals, related medical professionals, and discharge planners.
  • Responsible to respond to customer requests and concerns and help promote a positive admissions & referral process for all parties involved.
  • Supervise and review the collection of admission documents, ensure completion and forward to the appropriate departments as necessary.
  • Supervise or perform interviews of residents/guardians and obtain required information and signatures.
  • Assist in the orientation program for residents/personnel.
  • Maintain an accurate record of available beds.
  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility.
  • Maintain a resident waiting list in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Keep current on Medicare/Medicaid provider regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
  • Maintain daily and monthly census report as directed.
  • Maintains relationships with residents, their families and personnel to ensure that residents’ needs are being met.
  • Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary to ensure that the needs of the facility are met.

Qualifications:

  • Healthcare / skilled Nursing experience preferred
  • Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
  • Ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing admission practices.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of computers, e-mail, spreadsheets and document word processing.
