Secure24 ADT is Hiring an ADT Alarm Technician Near Phoenix, AZ

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Alarm Technician to join our team. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems for residential and commercial clients. Your expertise in computer networking, telecommunication, and cabling will be essential in ensuring the proper functioning of alarm systems. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Duties: - Install, program, and troubleshoot alarm systems according to client specifications - Conduct site surveys to assess the best locations for alarm system installation - Test and inspect alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly - Repair or replace faulty components or wiring as needed - Provide technical support to clients regarding alarm system operation and maintenance - Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance performed - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in alarm system technology Skills: - Strong knowledge of computer networking and telecommunication systems - Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams - Experience with cabling installation and termination techniques - Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations - Knowledge of computer hardware and software used in alarm systems - Ability to detect and troubleshoot issues with alarm systems - Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients - Field service experience is preferred - Relevant certification in alarm system installation or locksmithing is a plus We offer competitive pay for this full-time position.
