Aero Automatic Sprinkler Company is Hiring a Fire Alarm Technician - entry-level, mid-level, and Foreman Near Phoenix, AZ

The Fire Alarm Technician installs, repairs, tests, inspects and modifies fire alarm and detection systems in full compliance with all applicable codes, as well as industry and company standards.

Opportunities are available for entry-level candidates to learn on the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service and repair fire alarm, fire suppression, and other life safety systems at various customer locations.
  • Inspect and test existing fire detection systems, identifying any repairs or corrective actions needed and clearly communicating these needs to the customer.
  • Respond to service calls, including emergency calls during non-standard working hours.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Opportunities are available for entry-level candidates to learn on the job.

Demonstrated expertise in inspecting and testing fire alarms, fire suppression, access controls, and security systems.

Demonstrated knowledge of low voltage wiring, especially troubleshooting.

Demonstrated knowledge and proper application of national fire alarm codes.

Highly proficient at reading, interpreting, and applying system design plans and building construction drawings.

Available as needed to keep critical fire protection systems functional, including possible overtime or weekend needs.

Requirements

Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.

Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.

Must have valid Driver's License and clean motor vehicle report.
