Now that you know a little about us, let's talk about you: Are you a personable, customer-obsessed individual who would love to join our team as a sales coordinator? Are you excited about growing with a rapidly expanding small business and helping to take it to the next level through social media and online sales? 

We have an immediate need for someone to join our team! We will train you to learn our business processes, understand our products and customers. You will start with us in store but then depending on your experience can set your own hours. Once trained, you will assist us with promoting the business via social media and photographing and writing descriptions of our products to be sold online. If you have experience with eBay, OfferUp, etc then that's a plus! If you have a website or samples of your online sales work or Facebook posts, please include them to help expedite your application.

We'd love it if you have familiarity or, better yet, some experience in one or more recreational activities (cycling, running, boating/kayaking, camping, hiking, snowboarding/skiing, etc.), and/or some team sports (soccer, baseball, etc.). Retail or consignment experience is preferred, but bottom line: If working with people energizes you and you feel confident about sales and customer service, that's most important to us. 

Some light lifting of bikes, sporting goods and boxes may be required. 

Second Gear Sports has a small, but mighty team, and we'd love to add your knowledge, skill, and vision. This is a great position for a responsible college student, homemaker or retiree so all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Photograph products and promote via various social media and sales channels
• Research, write and post product descriptions online to encourage sales
• Coordinate with staff to manage and price incoming products
• Follow through with sales leads and customer inquiries
• Maintain accurate sales records as required
• Ensure distribution of products is completed in a timely manner
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience working in sales
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong ability to work with a team towards one goal
• Experienced in FaceBook, Instagram, OfferUp, eBay, various packaging and shipping methods such as USPS, FedEx and UPS, Microsoft Word, Excel
