THE ROLE

VP Product

Role reports to : CEO

Responsibilities

As the VP Products, you will report to the CEO and help drive the product vision for the company. The product management leader, you will be responsible for defining, communicating and executing on the product strategy for Seclore. This will include:

• Lead the product management team to define and deliver best-in-class cybersecurity software solutions with a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences, while defining product roadmaps and direction to delight and retain customers.
• Develop and implement the roadmap for Seclore to continue to be the leader in the Data Centric Security in ever expanding geographical and vertical markets
• Plan and communicate the product strategy to the entire stakeholder group in different time horizons i.e. 6 months, 2 years and 5 years.
• Attract and retain the best talent in the business and mentor each team member to become a leader.
• Drive the culture of performance, innovation and entrepreneurship across the company
• Manage active dialogs with external stakeholders and influencers to the product direction i.e. Customers, prospects, competitors, partners, competitors, regulators, and analysts.
• Collaborate with the Engineering, Marketing and Revenue leaders to drive technology leadership and market perception of Seclore.
• Manage all elements of user centric product UX and design from conceptualization and field validation to customer adoption.
• Establish leading indicators of success and also success metrics and track them through the lifecycle of any initiative.
• Develop, monitor, and manage the development and implementation of annual operating budgets, forecasts, and metrics. Ensure risks are identified and managed and that resources are utilized judiciously.
• Work with the marketing team in product launches and other product marketing initiatives.
• Celebrate individual, team and company successes and acknowledge failures early and gracefully.

• A demonstrated experience of product leadership in an enterprise software / SaaS company ideally in cybersecurity
• Experiences in growth companies in the $10M to $100M revenue ranges since this stage presents unique challenges for product leadership..
• Extensive experience in managing product teams across geographies in North America, Asia and Europe
• Working with engineering teams in different time zones requiring appreciation of diverse cultures
• Creating teams and setting up systems and processes to deliver outcomes to customers.
• Your portfolio showcases successful projects and valuable lessons learned from less successful endeavors. You have experience guiding design, product management, product operations and content teams. Your collaborative spirit shines in coordinating the efforts of diverse, cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams, expertly managing conflicting demands for time and resources.
• You bring M&A experience of identifying targets, conducting product and technology due diligence, supporting the investment thesis and product lines and capabilities.
• Experience in working with PE/VC investor base and leveraging their expertise and connections.
• Extensive experience throughout the entire product lifecycle, from conception through launch to continuous improvement while ensuring that growth investments are aligned to sales strategy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an enthusiasm for engaging a variety of audiences, including clients, partners, and investors.
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and industry best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud-native technologies, architectures, and service delivery models
• Demonstrated skill of setting up success metrics and early indicators for failure within the product management team
• Ability to travel extensively across the world to meet internal and external stakeholders.
