About the position:

Vice President (VP) of Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for planning, creating, and implementing the overall strategy for Netskope products and solutions. Besides new product development, they are responsible for setting up the overall strategy for promoting the company's products and offerings. We are looking for a Vice President (VP) of Product & Solutions Marketing to join our core Marketing team. As a Vice President (VP) of Product & Solutions Marketing, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our overall product and services marketing strategy. In addition, you will lead the team of marketers responsible for the messaging, packaging, and delivery of our products to market. You will also be responsible for implementing new product strategy working closely with our product team and leading customer research.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of marketers to ensure the success of product selection and adoption
  • Make data-driven decisions to hit company goals
  • Develop and implement the strategy for pricing, messaging, packaging, promotion, and selling of our products in collaboration with other organizations within the company
  • Train and support sales and customer support teams
  • Serve as an evangelist for our products through thought leadership and blogging, social media, and speaking
  • Keep the company up-to-date with market trends and competition
  • Interface with analysts from firms like Gartner and Forrester
  • Hire and train new team members
  • Regularly give feedback to the team
  • Do employee evaluation based on previously determined KPIs
Job Requirements:
  • 20 years of experience with Solutions Marketing and Product Development
  • Experience with determining product-market fit and delivering products to market
  • Successful track record leading large teams at scale
  • A highly analytical approach
  • Able to synthesize complex product information and turn it into concepts that employees, customers, and partners can understand
  • Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally within Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Sales Enablement, and other departments
  • Highly collaborative and able to build consensus across teams regardless of reporting structure
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Experience within the network security industry with knowledge of critical use cases, business benefits, and the technical landscape
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred
