The Manager of Supply Planning plays a key leadership role in shaping and executing Darigold's supply and inventory strategy. The Manager of Supply Planning leads and develops a high-performing team of supply and inventory planners responsible for master production planning, strategic inventory management, and inventory deployment for assigned Darigold product portfolios. The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of short-, medium, and long-term supply and inventory plans that optimize key business performance metrics including maximizing customer fulfillment and minimizing inventory write-downs. The Supply Planning Manager represents the Supply Planning team by leading the monthly Supply Review process as part of the Darigold Integrated Business Planning cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team of supply chain professionals in supply and inventory planning
• Responsible for execution of weekly integrated tactical planning (ITP) meetings for assigned product portfolio
• In partnership with the Director of Supply Chain Planning to enhance the efficacy, efficiency, and maturity of ITP processes
• Lead monthly Supply Review meeting, including preparation of all material, setting agenda, and development of action plans and recommendations to senior leadership
• Escalates discrepancies between projected network capabilities and budgeted goals through the Director of Supply Chain Planning to close gaps and meet organizational financial targets.
• Responsible for setting supply and inventory tactics for assigned product portfolios and partnering with cross-functional partners for the execution of those tactics
• Identify business risks and opportunities, and develop countermeasures and action plans in partnership with cross-functional teams to improve inventory availability and inventory health to maximize business results (cost and service)
• Manage in partnership with procurement and portfolio teams, successful annual launch of seasonal product offering
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing to fully leverage external manufacturing partners and co-pack relationships to deliver cost-effective external supply to meet consensus demand plans
• Responsible for alignment, integration, and synchronization of supply plans across tactical and strategic time horizons
• Actively partner with Finance, Sales, Portfolio, Procurement, and Manufacturing to build strong collaborative relationships
• Continuously improve the effectiveness of cross-cutting decision-making and execution processes to meet organizational financial and service objectives
• Maintains ownership and accuracy of master data for the Supply Planning organization and works cross-functionally with IT as necessary to maintain

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated success in building decision support tools and/or spreadsheet models used for business analysis
• Strong understanding of demand, supply, inventory, transportation, and space capacity planning concepts
• Experience with Integrated Business Planning concepts
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with a wide range of audiences professionally and efficiently
• Superior organization and follow-through
• Bias for action and a focus on business results

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or other quantitative field
• 7 years of experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain Management
• 7 years of progressive experience in analytical or planning roles
• Industry certification such as CPIM or CSCP or equivalent

Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications

• Master's degree in business, supply chain, or similar discipline
• Working knowledge of SQL for use in data manipulation and extraction
• Working knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI
• Industry certification such as CPIM CSCP or equivalent
