Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individuals to join our team as a Sorter of Goods. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently sort and organize donated goods, ensuring that they are ready for distribution to those in need. This position plays a crucial role in the operational success of our organization, as it directly impacts our ability to serve the community effectively. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the operation of various equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort donated goods according to type, size, and condition.
• Inspect items for quality and ensure they meet our organization's standards.
• Organize sorted items for storage and distribution.
• Assist with inventory management and tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sorting area.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Seasons of Change.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
