Dispatcher Assistant (Indian Trail, NC)
Compensation: $16 - $18 / hr. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Work hours range between 8 am and 5 pm with an hour lunch.
Waste Agents is a residential subcontractor specializing in construction debris waste predominantly in the residential new construction industry. Our customer base primarily consists of homebuilders and contractors. We are located in different regions in the states of NC, SC, GA, and TN.
The company is currently seeking a Dispatcher Assistant for our Corporate office, located in Indian Trail, NC. This position will assist in managing the production schedules for the Charlotte, NC area.
Primary Job Responsibilities (Not limited to):
Plans and schedules workflow for operation through use of GPS software and other process monitoring equipment
Manages the dispatch board and scheduling of jobs on an ongoing basis during the day to maximize time and travel
Confers with crew leaders to determine status of assigned jobs
Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
Performs administrative functions pertaining to purchase orders
Provides Costa Rica team previous day work orders for Invoicing
Acts as a liaison between customers and other departments within the company
Checking scheduler email on a regular basis throughout the day
Work with managers and sales and team to provide greater efficiency in production
Skills Required
Customer service and sales experience required
Excellent demeanor on the phone / pleasant personality
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Advanced organizational skills
Bi-lingual required (Spanish & English)
Team player
Creative & Resourceful problem solver, anticipates future needs and thinks outside the box
Google Apps for Business and Microsoft Office experience
Heavy keyboarding/data entry
Map reading skills
Math and calculations
Knowledge of construction industry desired but not required
High School Diploma
Ability to travel on an as need basis for training
Two Years of Customer Service and/or dispatch experience needed.

Our company is a construction subcontractor where sales, labor based production, and customer service are the central activities of our organization. We are a privately held business.
