Summary

• Help build and strengthen our centralized finance organization for Scutum’s US branch
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Manage the accounting operations including review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, revenue recognition and accounts receivable, consolidation of US subsidiaries
• Perform the monthly financial statement close and consolidation process, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with US GAAP
• Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations
• Report financial results to internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate the activities of external auditors and tax advisors
• Prepare sales & use tax returns and required business reports for select entities
• Provide financial information and analysis to partners within the business
• Support the annual budget process
• Integrate new acquisitions in the group
• Special projects as needed

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business with emphasis in finance
• 8 years of accounting experience. Public accounting, construction or security industries is a plus
• Experience overseeing audits performed by external audit firm

• Experience with multiple GL packages, as well as strong Excel skills. ERP implementation is a plus.
