Assistant Controller - Certified Home Health AgencyLocated in Brooklyn, NYA certified home health agency servicing Brooklyn, NY is looking for a strong Assistant Controller.Responsibilities:
- Oversee finances and billing for three companies
- Cash management
- Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes
- Protect businesses against unintentional over payment
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Must have a strong accounting background
- Nursing home experience preferred
- Must have healthcare experience
- Assist with all aspects of finance for the facilities
- Strong grasp of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts
- Proficient in Excel
