What we are looking for

SCS is looking for a Senior Project Manager for our Southeast Environmental Services team. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a project or multiple projects occurring simultaneously. As the Senior Project Manager, you will also responsible for identifying new business opportunities from current and new clients. You will maintain client relationships and ensure that projects are completed and delivered with the purpose of meeting Clients' business objectives.

• Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, in accordance with the scope and within budget.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, and budgets involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business strategy.
• Lead or have an active role in client prospecting, and developing and executing client plans, sales plans, and key opportunity plans.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to complete projects and ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Evaluate and estimate future business and strategic plans to forecast assigned staff workloads and chargeability.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Manage the relationships with clients and partners, and establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Develop proposals by working with clients to understand their business objectives, and to provide solutions that meet clients' technical needs.
• Oversee, manage, and develop lower level staff to grow their knowledge and career path.
• Assist other Project Managers or staff when additional support or technical expertise are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or Science required.
• (PE) or Professional (PG) licenses preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience required.
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing required.

Pay range for this position is $120k to $150k depending on experience and location. This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
