has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an AP / Payroll Clerk for our client, a rapidly scaling construction company in Emmett, Idaho ! This is a full-time, on-site, direct-hire position, offering an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and ambitious team!

Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review invoices for accuracy and ensure proper approval before payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files and update information as needed.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
• Process payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Review timecards for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Calculate and process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
• Prepare payroll reports and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees.
• Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll and tax regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Proficiency in using ADP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Knowledge of payroll and tax regulations is a plus.
