This position provides an excellent starting point for global supply chain management, making a significant impact from day one.
Position Summary
  • The North America Planning Senior Finance Analyst is a trusted advisor that has the responsibility to lead, deliver proper financial insight, & drive continuous improvement on key NAM supply chain areas such as volume planning, inventory, and imports
  • Success in this role will require business partnering and building strong relationships with the front office, Global Supply Chain, accounting, and finance teams
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Ensure governance and controls over inventory along with partnering with the organization to drive action plans to ensure optimal inventory levels (inventory reevaluation, excess & obsolete provision, margin on inventory, etc.)
  • Collaboration with the front office and supply chain clusters to drive sales volume forecasting accuracy and support strategic decision making
  • Lead month-end close along with quarterly forecast process
  • Partnership with accounting & working with external auditors on the execution of the audit
  • Lead and contribute to transversal initiatives (including further digitization & automation) and support the business in ad hoc requests resolution

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field
  • Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used accounting and information technology concepts, practices, and procedures
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong data analytic skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including handling multiple demands and assignments and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
Preferences
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field in large matrix accounting firm or organization
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP, MS Office
