PhyNet Dermatology is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Franklin, TN

SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will assist with routine and ad hoc analysis to support the development, implementation and ongoing administration of compensation policies, programs, and strategies for Phynet Dermatology Providers. Based on results of analytics, they may identify focus areas and trends that require action or review and recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with all aspects of the provider compensation department.
  • Assist the preparation of monthly production and compensation statements.
  • Maintain master provider compensation schedules.
  • Partner with departmental leaders, Finance, Recruiting, Operations, and HR to address issues and conduct collaborative problem-solving.
  • Perform financial modeling & benchmark analyses to advise decision-making for clinical and operational leadership to maintain market competitiveness and alignment with budgetary and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with report and proposal writing as it relates to contract language as well as proofing for accuracy.
  • Respond to provider-related requests, as appropriate.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree, finance or accounting required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience, corporate healthcare experience required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required with high attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively regarding a variety of sensitive and complex issues.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Excellent mathematical, critical thinking, and analytical skills with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated team player with a professional, positive attitude and willingness to be flexible and creative.
  • Ability to problem solve using judgment sufficient to recognize limits of responsibility and direct issues beyond level of responsibility to appropriate level of personnel.
