Schilling Beer Co. is seeking dedicated Back of House in our Mills Street Kitchen as a Line Cook in a part-time or full-time capacity.
The ideal candidate has a sense of urgency, a positive and detailed approach to their work, and the ability to maintain and operate a clean and well organized kitchen and dish area
What to expect :
- Fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Maintain and operate a clean and organized kitchen / work area.
- Follow all responsible food service guidelines and comply with safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the BOH team, Asst. General Manager of BOH, and Manager on Duty (MOD) to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Capable of working on a Grill and Fry line as a short order cook, and execution of many different menu items
- execution of prepping items for the menu during shifts
- maintaining deep cleaning tasks and washing some dishes throughout the shift

Qualifications : The ideal candidate for this role possesses :
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a friendly demeanor, including during fast-paced service.
- Willingness to support in various ways beyond the kitchen when / if needed (organizing, cleaning, clearing tables, restocking glassware and dishes, etc.).
- Strong initiative i.e. going above and beyond without being asked a passion for details, and delivering exceptional results.
- Multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to lift approximately 50-60 lbs.
- Open and flexible availability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends / holidays.
- The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
