Job Title : Prep Cook, Baker, Tea-mate, Spin-Mate

Job Location : SCHASTEÂ (tearoom) - 300 Broadway, Providence, RI 02903

Employment Type : Full-time

At Schasteâ we source and blend over 60 varieties of tea. Our menu comprises of house-made

baked goods, crepes and other light fare. We are looking to hire a friendly food

enthusiast to prepare meals for our customers. Tea-mates perform baking, food preparation, and

environment while being courteous and pleasant toward customers and crew. Successful

applicants are energetic and quick on their feet.

Responsibilities :

• Attend and complete the provided training program.
• Assist in the preparation, production and service of meals to customers and crew. This

includes spinning and assembling crepes.

• Follow recipes to constantly prepare menu items to spec.
• Ensure the correct standards of hygiene and cleanliness are constantly maintained -

undertaking cleaning tasks as required.

• Receive, document and store deliveries.
• Serve customers in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
• Provide customers (as needed) with information regarding menu and ingredients.
• Comply with all Schasteâ Policies Standards and Procedures

Requirements :

• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Proficient understanding of food allergies and modified diets.
• Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple orders at a time.
• Maintain a neat an cleanly appearance at all times
• Available to work holidays, weekends, and extended hours.
• Reliable transportation
