We have 16 operating rooms and provide surgical care to patients with Anesthesiology, ENT, General, GYN, Neuro, Ortho, Urology, Cardiac, Radiology needs. The Accounts Payable Payroll Specialist processes accounts payable in accordance with established policies. Assures appropriate internal controls exist for accounts payable. Assures invoices are approved or authorized for payment. Utilizes payroll software accurately. Researches and responds to employee questions concerning paychecks. This is an onsite position in Boise, Idaho.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for:

• Processing payments for purchase order transactions.
• Audits invoices against the purchase order/receiving report for correct vendor information, items, quantity, and price.
• Ensures payments are made to vendors according to the terms in the purchase order.
• Monitors invoices for correct information; investigates invoices or payment errors.
• Assures timely and accurate processing of timecards and payroll records.
• Ability to resolve payroll issues and a commitment to follow through with issues.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion as mandated by the position.
• Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, verifying, processing, and reconciling invoices timely with limited oversight.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Communicate effectively with staff members and vendors.
• Demonstrates the ability to be organized and flexible.
• Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
• Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.

Account Payable Specialist Requirements:

• Payroll experience required.
• Previous Accounts Payable experience required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of Excel required.
• Possesses strong initiative to get daily work finished and processed accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Analytical ability.
• Possesses accurate judgment in handling payroll and account payable accounts.
• Versatile and willing to coordinate with and participate in, when necessary, all other aspects of business.
• Courteous, understanding, and sympathetic toward co-workers and vendors.
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work in designated time frame.
• Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
• Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
