Exceptional opportunity for an experienced General Manager in the Commercial Electrical industry to join a growing leader in this field. Selected candidate will provide business leadership for the MO branch to include establishing business plans, developing marketplace opportunities, overseeing internal processes, and providing employee leadership. This individual will drive processes to ensure customer satisfaction, sales orders, profitable growth, and achieve operational metrics. Management experience in design-build, bid, and service environments a must. Knowledge of low voltage systems installation and service in fields such as building automation, fire & security, and fiber splicing and testing, as well as managing union employees a plus. You will have P&L responsibility for sales and operations.

Compensation commensurate with experience, with a base range of $155K-$180K, plus bonus.

• Ability to lead with confidence and create alignment among management and attract and develop staff
• Ability to direct a team towards a cohesive set of strategic objectives and maintain efficient timelines in the completion of tasks
• Ability to understand and leverage existing company systems to provide solutions to the business and recommend new systems when required
• Proven track in the commercial electrical contracting market
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Exceptional strategic thinking and structured problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of the organization
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug test

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, High School Diploma or GED is required.
• MBA and/or other advanced and education is desirable.
• Minimum five (5) years in the Electrical installation service/sales/solutions field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience managing people, ideally managing managers of people.
• Minimum of five (5) years of critical P&L focus with strategic financial planning and analysis skills to drive growth is required.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets/P&L required.
• Experience successfully using a conceptual sales cycle selling financially justified solutions.
• Strong leadership and hands-on team building qualities.
