We are seeking an experienced Outboard Service Manager who will be responsible for the outboard service department. Saunders Yachtworks is an authorized service and repower center for Yamaha, Mercury, and Suzuki outboards. Additionally, Saunders provides boatyard, mechanical, systems, and crafts services for vessels up to 120', as well as over-the-counter parts and marine supplies sales through its Parts Department.

The following is a snapshop of what the manager will be responsible to accomplish:

• Estimate, schedule, and communicate work-flow with the Outboard Services team
• Oversight and quality control of all work completed by outboard technicians
• Guide technicians in proper instruction on industry accepted repair processes and standards
• Communicate with Service Advisors and customers in order to set clear expectations of service work
• Material sourcing along with tool research and development
• Manage, file, transfer, and communicate all outboard manufacturer warranty items
• Estimate and communicate potential repower and service projects
• Represent Outboard Service division at company meetings and contribute to problem solving

Education and Work Experience:

• High school diploma required; 2 year degree preferred
• 5 years industry experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively across other divisions
