Purpose of the Role
The Director of Project Development (DPD) leads business development efforts, coordinates the procurement phase, and supports construction efforts for all aspects of Saunders projects in various markets including education, institutional, civic/government and other select markets. The DPD is responsible to bring new business opportunities into the company by being the champion of the firm’s services. This role leads the strategic positioning activities of the firm, performs business development functions, builds and nurtures strategic relationships, and collaborates fully with executive management, marketing, preconstruction/estimating, integrated technologies and operations teams.
