We’re looking for a talented Social Media Specialist Content Creator to administer our social media accounts and represent Sarofsky across social channels. You have a high level of taste, solid design skills, and can bring your vision to life. You will be responsible for creating and managing original content and responding to followers. You will creatively and cohesively manage our company image on social media in support of our business goals. Your goal is to help build and sustain our social media presence to ensure high levels of web traffic and client engagement. You’re self-motivated and driven by results.

We want someone who’s able to show off the talented people who create it, their incredible work, and the passion and smarts we bring to what we do. This role is important in our company, and the right person will also have a lot of fun doing it.

● 3 years experience managing professional social media accounts

● Highly skilled graphic designer and strong video editor – including conceptualizing a story from existing content, developing and shooting original content, editing and designing graphics for video and image posts.

● Delights in delivering high-quality, creative content, e.g. copy, images, and short video

● Stays up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies

● Understand how to monitor and use social media analytics to guide content strategy

● Excellent communication skills and ability to express our company’s views clearly and creatively

● Analytical and multitasking skills

● Chicago-based studio, hybrid role – 3 days in-office a week, typically

Responsibilities & Skills :

Creative :

● Proficient in CapCut, Premiere, Photoshop and your creative tools of choice for content creation

● Write copy so sharp that people delight in reading it twice

● Oversee design of social media accounts, e.g. LinkedIn cover photo, profile pictures, and pinned content and follow templates for content and update and expand templates where/when needed

● Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

● Adhere to overall brand standards

● Able to work within limiting parameters to come up with creative ways to share work. For example, we’re often not allowed to share certain work or can only do so in very specific ways. We need someone who’s able to think of interesting solutions to this challenge – perhaps it’s editing our archive footage, utilizing interviews, sharing the work clients or others have shared with our commentary attached, etc.

Strategy:

● Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

● Design and implement social media strategy to support business goals

● Set specific objectives and report on results

● Plan and deliver against a content calendar

Technical:

● Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics

● Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics to inform content strategy

● Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like campaigns and content series

● Knowledge of online marketing channels

Team :

● Collaborate with other teams

● Foster good relationships internally and externally

● Encourage teamwork and good communication

● Support your team by suggesting new ideas and questioning thinking where appropriate

● Seek advice and support where and when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
