Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working with youth is preferred.

REPORTS TO: School Principal

Non-CONTRACT: Day by Day or Long-Term Substitute (LTS status is achieved after 21st consecutive day of service for a single/same position filled.)

JOB GOAL: To supervise students and fulfill the instructional duties as prescribed by the classroom teacher in the event of their absence.

POSITION: Substitute Teacher

PAY SCALE INFORMATION FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

Non-Degree & Associates Degree- $60 per day
College Degree (4 years) - $65.00 per day
Certified Teachers - $75.00 per day

PAY INFORMATION FOR SUBSTITUTE PARAPROFESSIONALS

Substitute Paraprofessionals. Aides or Tutors - $54.37 per day

PAY INFORMATION FOR SUBSTITUTE BUS AIDES - $12.80 per hour / $51.20 per day

PAY INFORMATION FOR SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS - 16.00 per hour / $64.00 per day

PAY INFORMATION FOR SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS - $8.00 per hour
PAY INFORMATION FOR CHILD NUTRITION TECHNICIANS - $8.60 per hour
DATES TO APPLY: SY 2023-2024
