Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules
- Manage and oversee subcontractors and vendors
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera
- Estimate construction costs and develop budgets
- Implement OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in construction estimating and budgeting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
