SANTA MONICA SEAFOOD is looking to hire Servers part-time for our Café in Santa Monica. Candidates must have a positive, cheerful, and energetic work attitude as this position will require the ability to give exceptional personalized service to our customers and efficiently manage tables.

Responsibilities:

• Take customers’ food and drink orders.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner.
• Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials.
• Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience.
• Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-year experience in a high-volume atmosphere
• Basic wine and beer knowledge
• Excellent oral communication skills required Positive interpersonal skills
  Serve-Safe Certified (preferred but may be obtained after employment)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask.
• Flexible work schedule that may include days, nights, and weekends.
