At this time, SCI is recruiting highly qualified candidates whose background and career goals meet our needs for the following position in Huntsville, AL. Please note that due to Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing detailed test plans, maintenance procedures, test operational work instructions and test procedures
• Executing structured problem solving efforts
• Maintaining the test labor standards and capacity analysis for products
• Writing technical reports to a multifaceted team related to design, test and electrical failures and manufacture of electronic products
• Effective and clear communication to management on status of projects
• Identifying and driving test and process improvements to closure
• Identifying and communicating product software and hardware design deficiencies to customers
• Training technicians in debug of functional test failures and use of diagnostic equipment

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED:

• US Citizenship
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years functional test hardware development or manufacturing test support
• Must have, or be able to obtain, secret clearance
• Familiar with Standard electronic test and measurement equipment
• Must be highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team
• Ability to demonstrate relationship building skills and be comfortable interacting with technical professionals.
• Effective, concise and clear communication to management on the status of projects.
• You will be expected to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
