Position Overview:

TRIOMA is seeking a strategic and enthusiastic In-House Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. As the architect of our legal landscape, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless compliance, navigating complex contracts, and guiding us through the intricacies of governance and export-import regulations in accordance with Washington, D.C. regulations, including TRIOMA's specific areas of focus.

Responsibilities:

- Advise on all legal matters related to government contracts, compliance, and operations.
- Manage intellectual property, data privacy, and other legal risk areas.
- Navigate and oversee export-import regulations, ensuring smooth international transactions.
- Review and negotiate contracts, safeguarding company interests and maximizing opportunities.
- Partner with executive management to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization and support compliance initiatives.
- Address organizational conflict of interest restrictions.
- Oversee mergers and acquisition transactions.
- Ensure compliance with international trafficking in arms regulations (ITAR).

Qualifications:

- JD from a prestigious law school with a minimum of 10 years of legal experience, preferably in government contracting or related fields.
- Fully licensed and qualified as Corporate Counsel in Washington, DC, or Virginia.
- Minimum of five years of substantive government contracts experience, either at a law firm or in-house.
- Extensive knowledge of international trafficking in arms regulations (ITAR).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical with excellent critical thinking skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Ability to work under pressure with time-sensitive deadlines.
- Meticulous, dedicated, and inquisitive.
