The SAVIF Auction Coordinator is a key member of the administrative team and is responsible for making arrangements to be able to facilitate a weekly auction, Non-auction salvage and scrap sales, miscellaneous sales for the city, property disposal, and Asset Seizure assistance and Military Holds inventory. The assistant auction coordinator is able to handle all of these responsibilities in addition to coordinating with the auction coordinator any advertising the event to the public. Responsible for the timely, accurate reflection of vehicles for sale, sales activity, and the cataloging of inventory for auction. Processing of all assigned and unassigned sales transactions. Making eligible inventory adjustments to the current auction weekly. Assists with maintaining sales records for scrap and or salvaged vehicles and proceeds accordingly as needed. Ensuring the accurate processing of sales payments and issuing state-regulated documentation to the buyer. The assistant coordinator will also provide non-sales support to the San Antonio Police Department Asset Seizure division along with general administrative and customer service support as needed.
