Position Title: Data Analyst Clerk

Job Title: Data Analyst Clerk

Reports to: Director Pay Grade: N09

Terms of • 230 days per year. FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Employment: • At-Will employment agreement.

  • Salary is in the pay grade N09 on the Non-
Exempt SAISD Compensation Plan.
  • Entry salary is at $18.50 with consideration for
directly related experience.

Position Summary
Assist in the attainment of district academic goals and objectives as supported by the department’s programming
in curriculum digital management and instructional materials.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise workflow of the department and office staff.
2. Assist staff as needed.
3. Greet visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
4. Maintain and assist with operation of office equipment/machines as needed.
5. Perform general office procedures including typing, filing, mail, duplication of materials, data

processing/entry, editing and general bookkeeping/recordkeeping.
6. Prepare and edit correspondence /reports for supervisor, to include, but not limited to online digital

content usage reports and set-ups, Website development, customer service reports, curriculum resource
timelines and documents for Internet publication, budget documentation and record keeping.

7. Assist with processing department reports, documents, directed by administrator.
8. Maintain general office files: save/store required documents per policy and administrative procedures.

Create and maintain spreadsheets to document and track department initiatives.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected

for this position.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional
accrediting agency) or higher; &
  • 3 years of full-time work-related experience, general knowledge of routine office procedures to include:
o customer service, telephone etiquette, efficient and effective filing, data entry and record keeping

procedures.

  • Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee
(approximately $50.00) paid by the employee

  • Ability to use emerging technology tools and software to include Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Adobe,
and online platforms

Working Conditions
Work Environment:

  • Computer, computer software programs and peripherals, teacher resource materials and
equipment, copier, fax, and other equipment applicable to position.
  • Frequent exposure to: temperature extremes (hot and cold), humidity extremes, noise. Occasional
exposure to: biological hazards (communicable diseases, bacteria, insects, mold, fungi, etc.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions/deadlines; frequent sitting,
standing, walking, climbing, balancing, pulling and pushing; reaching, repetitive hand motions, hearing,
speaking clearly, visual acuity and prolonged data input; occasional lift/carry light, moderate 15-44 pounds.
