 General Overview of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand CAID Industries' presence in the copper mining market, with a focus on electrowinning and electrorefining technologies.
  • Prospecting for potential new customers and opportunities.
  • Managing a sales funnel / following up on quotations. 
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand CAID Industries' presence in the copper mining market, with a focus on electrowinning and electrorefining technologies.
  • Identify and prioritize potential customers through market research, networking, and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and production, to develop tailored solutions that address customer challenges and objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and technical demonstrations to showcase CAID Industries' capabilities and offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both CAID Industries and its customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives within assigned territories or market segments, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Forecasting orders/sales monthly.
  • Generating and storing market intel that will support long-term business decisions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plan /targets – business development experience, or knowledge of the mining industry.
  • Minimum of a College or University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the mining industry, with a focus on technical solutions and services.
  • Strong understanding of electrowinning and electrorefining processes, as well as their applications within copper mining operations.
  • Self-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in market development, including prospecting, lead generation, and account management.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend events, and visit project sites.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Manufacturing environment: May be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and exotic materials.

Job may require handling or moving of hazardous waste.
