Catering by Saltbox, Concord, MA Hiring: Full-time Catering Chefs

Catering by Saltbox is an award winning, farm to table catering company located in Concord, MA. We take great pride in our food, as well as the level of hospitality we offer our guests at all of our events. We are looking for driven and passionate individuals who want to have fun, learn and grow within our team. A great work ethic, positive attitude, understanding & interest of food, wine, beer and hospitality are all required.

Our menus are inspired by the changing seasons and the activity at our farm, Saltbox Farm, also located in Concord. The farm supplies us with fresh vegetables, herbs, flowers, eggs, lamb and honey during the growing season.

Saltbox Kitchen is home base for our catering operation and is a 28-seat café and brewery where we offer prepared foods to go, as well as lunch. We also have a brewery featuring our award- winning beers within our restaurant using hops grown from the farm.

Our team at Saltbox Kitchen is excited to share our knowledge and love of food and hospitality as part of a training plan. We also offer health benefits for full time employees.

Basic Qualifications

• 4-5 Years experience of cooking experience
• Team oriented, with an ability to communicate and take instruction from executive or sous chef
• Catering experience!!
• Availability and experience to lead and adapt to unexpected hospitality situations
• Available to work nights and weekends with variable hours
• Reliable transportation
• “Front of House” service experience (not required but recommended)
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Serve Safe Certified (not required but recommended)
