PURPOSE

We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Business Analyst to join our team. As the newest member of our dynamic team, you will be working with clients and internal teams on projects to deliver and implements solutions for the client. This work will include meeting with stakeholders to gather business requirements, supporting workshop planning and facilitation, complete relevant data and business analysis develop and provide deliverables to the client. You will also be working as part of a larger team within the company to help the company grow and develop including supporting business and technical development efforts, contributing to marketing materials, and work on internal strategic projects to support teams and ensure we are consistently providing best in class work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Delivery and Communication

• Quickly learn the client’s business and determine the specific project needs for effective and timely execution.
• Perform requirements gathering activities, including supporting workshop planning and facilitation and stakeholder interviews, to perform analysis on captured information.
• Effectively manage a variety of tasks while delivering accurate, complete, and high-quality work to our clients.
• Exhibit the flexibility and professionalism to work in a variety of client-related settings, including interfacing with the client staff through C-level executives.
• Perform data and business analysis and develop deliverables with oversight and guidance from project managers.

Internal Growth Contribution & Leadership

• Contribute to business development efforts including helping to prepare and review client proposals, RFP responses, and statements of work.
• Contribute to marketing materials including reviewing and helping to create social media posts, blogs, whitepapers, webinars, case studies, and peer-reviewed journal articles showcasing Salt Flats’ though leadership.
• Regularly attend and participate in internal team meetings.
• Help to build and maintain a library of best-in-class deliverables and examples of past work to ensure consistent strong delivery across projects.
• Support regular trainings for staff on guiding principles and best practices.
• Contribute to internal workgroups and projects.

NECESSARY SKILLS

• Impeccable communication skills, with the ability to conduct and facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, clients and technical resources to gather requirements.
• Prior experience with enterprise system implementation and content/data migration.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the proven ability to prioritize a large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines.
• Evidence of strong communication skills and ability to build good customer relationships with stakeholders, influencers, and technical team members.
• Firm knowledge of metadata and taxonomy application and best practices for system navigation and content search and retrieval.
• Ability to multi-task on several deliverables and projects at once.
• Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability and intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to be influential with all levels of staff and strong relationship building skills.
• Demonstrated organization, facilitation, and presentation skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree business management, management information systems, or related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience working with data analytics or data science
• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with large Media Asset Management (MAM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) or other content systems in Media & Entertainment.
• Experience in data visualization.
• Experience serving in technical business analysis and product owner roles.
