General Summary:
Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all staff, faculty and students. This position will work under a Team System of cleaning all buildings on SKC campus. This position will lead and develop individual teams. This position will supervise and serve as a leadership position with the Team Leaders and the team. Position will follow policy and procedures.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Model and instruct professional behavior to team members
Be firm with decisions
Become familiar and follow SKC policies and procedures
Maintain positive working relationships with administration, faculty, staff, supervisors and team members
Oversee and inspect the tasks and overall performance of the team
Responsible for the verification of job completion and hours worked of team members
Perform seasonal outside work as required
Check and secure buildings at end of shift
Maintain and upkeep cleaning equipment
Maintain and upkeep vehicles (check fluids and keep clean)
Report any additional duties or changes in cleaning schedule
Assist custodians with cleaning, sanitizing, and dusting as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED
At least three years of supervisory experience preferred
Must have the ability to work as a team player and possess good work ethics
Attend trainings and workshops as required
Ability to work full regular scheduled shifts and occasional flexible hours
Capable of lifting 50 lbs
Current driver’s license
Pass a pre-hire drug test
