Accounting Technician II-Business Office

Salary Range: $15.23-$15.67 per hour DOEE

General Summary:

The position is an Accounting Technician working within the SKC Business Office.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position prepares receipting for SKC.
  • Provides back up for incoming and outgoing mail and receptionist.
  • Assists all other Business Office Personnel as needed.
  • Greets and assists the general public and students who come to the Big Knife Building or call for assistance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Position is on site, as this is position is not designated for remote work.

Qualifications:

  • AA Degree in business or 3 years working experience in the accounting field.
  • Must be detail oriented, proficient in 10-key and computer literate with experience in data entry, Excel and Word is required.
  • Must be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Individual must have the ability to work within a team setting, establish and maintain effective working relationships, maintain confidentiality and strong public relations.
  • Individual must have the ability to carry out normal responsibilities and be flexible in meeting unusual situations with professionalism.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
