Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our new small internal medicine office in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our daily patients.

```Duties```
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized

```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred but not necessary.
- Proficiency with medical office software such as Tebra/Kareo is a plus
- Familiarity with medical scheduling systems and phone systems is desired
