This Registered Nurse (RN) position is typically 4x10 with NO nights, NO weekends, and NO holidays! We are thrilled to offer this schedule for our team to have better work-life balance.

Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities include:

• Responsible for all aspects of peri-operative patient care to include pre-op, post-op recovery and potentially training to circulate in the Operating Room.
• Proactively participate as a team member in support of the total surgical process.
• Assesses the physical and emotional status of the patient in preparation of the planned procedure and in preparation for discharge.
• Review, acknowledge and implement pre-operative and post-operative orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on patient needs related to the planned procedure and type of anesthesia.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Initiate IVs pre-operatively and remove post-operatively.
• Document all pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Organize time, equipment and supplies to provide effective and efficient case management.
• Assist with ordering and inventory control, infection control, quality assurance and safety initiatives.
• Any additional tasks within scope of practice.

Registered Nurse (RN) applicant requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Oregon license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within first 6 months
• Related experience preferred but not required; new grad RNs welcome to apply!
• Must maintain current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized and detail oriented.
• A clear communicator who is able to build good relationships with clinic staff and patients, and interacts with everyone in a positive and professional manner.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to work in a very busy, multidisciplinary setting.
