Your Role With Us:

You will apply your strong understanding of health care food service operations, and leadership skills to will support our mission to improve the health and well-being of the people and community we serve.

Core Functions:

  • Create a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure that employees understand and meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Work collaboratively across the organization; consider the impact of decisions and actions on other departments
  • Ensure outstanding patient satisfaction by ensuring that high quality food is coupled with fast friendly services.
  • Establishes and maintains patient food service standards in order entry, assembly and delivery.
  • Model open, clear and consistent communication
  • Demonstrate effective listening – listen to understand
  • Ensure that employees are informed about department and hospital goals, strategies and action plans
  • Delegate responsibility according to the individual’s skill, knowledge and abilities

Background/Expertise:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in food & nutrition, certified dietary manager, or related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience in food service operations required.
  • Current Oregon Department of Health Food Handlers Card or Servsafe required.
