Your Role With Us:

Supervisor Access Services

Primary Functions:

• Supervises Access Services staff ensuring that service expectations are consistently met
• Ensures patients are registered courteously, accurately and in a timely manner
• Routinely audits EPIC service encounters to ensure compliance with standard work and work is performed with a high degree of accuracy
• Provides timely feedback to staff questions and concerns
• Conducts and documents timely performance evaluations
• Collects and compiles performance related data for Access Services team members
• Maintains accurate and current employee records
• Actively evaluates ways to improve registration process and workflows
• Assists in prioritizing daily work Adheres to all regulatory requirements

Background/Expertise:

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in hospital admitting / registration or related fields such as Urgent Care, Multi Physician office, Surgery Center.
• Minimum of one (1) year in a Lead, Training or Supervisory position in related field preferred.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• National Association of Healthcare Access Management certification preferred. Not required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Demonstrated strong team management and team building skills.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, process improvement skills.
• Excellent collaboration and consulting skills at all levels of an organization.
